GOLIATH ~~ REBORN
« on: January 18, 2007, 11:28:31 pm »
A few tweaks and modifications to Goliath, thought we would share with y'all.  Please see the full size images... lol.  Some of these look kinda funny cuz they got squished!

Before shots:

New Paint Job

Shocks added:

Winch & brush guard:

side step:

Back end lowered 3 inches so it sits level again! LMAO!

grill make-over

Different tires and rims:

We'll take better pictures when we can get them outside during the day.  Graphics will be added also, hopefully before we take new pics.  Last, but not least, it will have a stereo...  :woo:

I honestly say that thing would scare the crap out of me with suspension.

How off-road capable is it being that tall and all?

the shocks on the front are for stabilizing it otherwise when goin certain things like a small curb it wants teeder todder ,the back end is still hard mounted. goliath has been in the mud and climbed some ditches .he is a lot more stable than it was before , wider since I change tires , almost 6" .

The paint job on that thing is really nice.

I'd never trust that thing on anything but a flat street though :!:

actually it is pretty stable , just alittle freaked out when I first take off , likes to pull wheelies if I'm not careful . Thinking about adding a wheelie bar for safety purposes .

i agree with chris, being that high it looks so top heavy.  you did a really nice job with it though.  would/could you get some pitures af how you did the rear axle setup?

..."I used that motto to keep going, keep pushing, keep digging to
find a way around, or through to find a hole, some kind of break that
would allow some space. Once something broke thru, I could be there to
take advantage. Then I would finish 7th instead of 10th." - Dubba G

I made the front axle stll utilizing the center pin , so it pivot when goin over certain terrain. Steering is a rack and pinion out of Yamaha Rhino . some of the other guys use from small cars .
