Just want to add that the low side jets in a Nikki 2-bbl can be easily removed. I've read a lot of posts here where people were trying to solder them closed so they could re-drill to a smaller size, but couldn't reach them when installed in the carb body. I used a punch to drive them out toward the top of the carb. Here's a pic of what they look like.
