Here is the Cutting Edge Blog Post

http://www.letsmow.com/event/sta-bil-series-racing-at-lancaster-tnt-speedway/

Here is a Facebook Event

https://www.facebook.com/events/210321205779277/

This event is going to be AWESOME!

From Illinois Lawn Mower Racing Association and Tampico (IL) LMRA President Todd Tornow:

"The TLMRA and ILMRA are very excited to have a USLMRA points race at TNT Speedway Tampico, Illinois. Our members are all smiling from ear to ear knowing that this race is coming to our turf. That is all that is being talked about by all the members of the associations we are going to eat and sleep this race we can't wait for it to get here.

"TNT Speedway is located 2 miles outside of Tampico, Illinois. This track is bad fast It is Approximately 872 feet around the track in the racing line. Straightaways are approximately 200 to 220 feet and wide sweeping corners. The track width all the way around the track is 30 to 35 feet which leaves a lot of racing grooves. TNT Speedway is known for being a very fast drying track so some rain is not a problem it will be raceable again in a hour or 2."

The description of the track sounds great!  Schedule permitting we would love to come and plan on being there!  Its only 250 miles or so, I will see if any people from my club want to come with as well.  Thank you for putting on this race!
This track sounds like it is very similar to Grasscar's track down in Ft. Meyers.

Wow there is a TON of passing room there.  That will make for some great racing instead of follow the leader.  Looks like you guys have a really nice track.

That's great Drew!!

I have another block of rooms at a hotel in Rock Falls so is same distance from the track as the other 2 but much more higher priced.

Country Inn and Suites the price is $109 per night here is a link that the block of rooms is linked to http://www.countryinns.com/stabil
That is 3 hotels and a campground get your hotel or campground booked it's going to be a big race and a lot of fun. Remember this is the last race before the finals.

Tampico is a small quiet town. Although you can still have fun. As we all will at this race. I wanted to let it be known that I might celebrate with a fircracker of somesort... Hopefully at least some sparklers.
