stock compression height
« on: January 21, 2013, 01:54:27 pm »
anyone know off hand what the stock compression height is for a 38 vanny? I'm trying not to have to tear mine down to measure it. Also wondering about the rod lenght.
thanks
Arthur

Not sure what you're reffering to in compression height?  I'm building a 38 right now and took a lot of measurements in my build.  Maybe I can help.

Sorry it took a while to get back to this.  Just did some measuring and if my math is right it came up to .998" from the top of the piston to the center of the wrist pin.  Allowing for any instrument variations, I'd say its pretty close to an inch.  Hope this helps out.
