can anyone identify this racer

I just got it. I know it was raced in pa. #   08 and its red. Would like to know a little about it. Thanks.mark

Craftsman tunnel chassis, looks like it has 13s all around what size motor is it?

#09 sorry. I think it belonged to a guy who goes by the screen name old goat on another website. It says juniata co outlaws mower racing club on the hood. Arma certified 2010 sticker.
The cover says 17 hp but was told close to 30hp. Rocket cam aluminium rod and flywheel big valves. He also said it was a mod x with a 700 peerless trans. I race karts but this thing is on a whole different level as power.

Mod x is a class of built ohv singles. Very fun and very fast. .the way it looks it is a good solid machine

I can tell u some about this mowet mower allan bell and i think old goat built it he raced with me i think thy have build pics of it on jcomrc webs site ill try to post a link
Yeah its on there site i dont know how to link it on my phone google jcomrc and go under fourms and projects it listed as joels mod x for 2010
It didnt belong to old goat though it was allan bells its a pretty fast mod x old goats one of the best mower builders there is

Yea its fast for sure. What kind of oil do you run. How much.  How many hp do i! got. Its got a rocket cam aluminum flywheel and rod. Big valves runs on gas.

Also how many rpms should i turn it and how many is to  many.  What temp do u run them at. Do they need to be refreshed evey so many races like my kart motors? Thanks for the help and sorry for all the questions. I just dont want to mess up this bad peice. thanks

you should have asked the owner, or person who built it those questions....there is very little anyone else can answer for you.

The guy i got it from did not know. And since this is a mower forum i figured someone could put me in contact with the original owner or builder. Alan bell. Old goat or joel. Thanks for your input

Old Goat is a member here, I'm sure he will pipe in when he is on. He is not on every day.
