so the FXT class still runs by the hp max vs the ci max............22hp 44ci oem max. which way is it, or is it both? this is confusion every year, yet never addressed. guess i can put a 20hp tin on my 23hp kohler(under ci rules) right?

I'm guessing yes, Jim. ;) Pretty safe to say it's being done as we speak.

I would say follow the cube rule like they said to do last year, as well as they are gearing the new rules more towards every time they are revised.

We have tried for several years to get away from HP Rating and go on a CI or CC ratings only, as HP ratings posted on the tins are just a decal. And a lot of research has gone into this. But again the confusion of ratings coming from the Manufactures seem to keep changing.. We will try again this season.

Idk about other brands, but with kohler twins, all the blocks can be the same cube engine. So use whatever block ya want. For example, I have a 18 hp block that is now over 50 cubes. The blocks 35hp up are different.

So the way I read it FXT and FXS is you must still use oem block and heads to start with, but unlimited modifications? So no billet heads or blocks?

Another question. I do not see in the licensing area about under age racers being able to move up. As in: 16-17 year olds in the FXS class. Is that still available or not this year?

NO billet heads or blocks, must be OEM block and heads can do what every you want from there. Licensing program has not changed from last year.
