Handling...

I would worry about pulley sizes and power until you make modifications to the mower to handle the power and speed.
If you will go to the chassis section and new builds you can read a LOT of good posts to get you headed in the right direction. That mower can be a GREAT racer but it is not made to do it from the factory.

all right i looked at the frames and what not and i need to do some welding. and i was wondering what CC or CI the motor is and what kind of trany it has

42 cubic inch.....most likely a FOOTE transaxle.

Well I'm pretty sure its horizontal witch means if its going to be turned into a race tractor thats the first thing that needs to be changed then I would go from there.

hey aint nuthin wrong with using a horizontal twin

turn the 700 on its side so input shaft is inline with driveshaft and then gear after accordingly
