About 4 minutes into the video my batteries were depleted and I lost about 3000rpm with the weak ignition. I have three brand new deep cycle batteries on board but there was about 7-8 minutes of caution laps edited from the video so I wasn't charging as hard as I was for the first part. At the last few laps my intake broke off of the head on #2 cylinder. That's when I went wide in #2 corner because when the engine leaned out the rpm really jumped up without notice.  George was right there when that happened, let me tell you that was a few of the most tense laps trying to hold him off like that. That was close right there lol. All I could do was hold the inside lane and hope for the best. That was the most fun I've had in a while on a mower. Those three laps seemed to last for about ten minutes lol. Must have been a heck of a show, I was smiling the whole time. Just wish the engine would have made it to the other side of the race track.
I love racing on that red clay, can't wait for next year!

Nice job George looks like you were faster at the end
But showed how one should drive no bumping
Better to finish second than cause accident

I was surprised at the the low number of mowers that actually finished this race. Started with around 14 and finished with only 5 or 6. The field sure thinned out a lot for some reason.
