23hp Vanguard cam in 16hp vanguard
«

I have heard that the 23hp, 38ci, Vanguard cam has more lift than the standard 16hp, 30ci, Vanguard cam. Is this correct? And are there any advantages to using the larger cam in the 16hp?
Thanks,

Yes they have a bit more lift. You might see 3-500 more rpm than with a stock 16hp cam

Thanks, I didn't think it would make much difference, but the cam was practically free.

I have wondered the same thing. Every little helps right. I'd go for it.
