EC 700
« on: October 26, 2012, 08:14:11 pm »
took my ec trans apart for post season inspection and cleaning. I got interrupted and
cant remember if there were one or two thrust washers under the pinion gear
Can anyone help me out?

1 according to the build thread on the 700, unless the EC tranny is different.

ec trans usually have a flat needle bearing with a washer on top and bottom of the bearing

sorry I was going by what I saw and read in the build thread. I guess the EC's are different.

Maybe some one needs to take apart a EC 700 and post about it with pics......lol

Some of the parts arent the same as a peerless. I bought mine with a chain in it because my class rules requires reverse.
Definitely no needle bearing under the pinion
