Tanks Mini Late Model Progress
« on: August 30, 2012, 10:30:47 am »
Ok I got lots of friends that don't have FB and some not so good with FB. Lately I've been getting lots of requests from friends wanting me to send some pics. Rather than having to dig through the hundreds of pics on my phone I'll just post them here as progress is made. It is a Grasscar Racing Wizard Chassis. I'll post pics as progress is made.

Chassis as I picked it up.

This is the motor mounts after I got them welded in place where they needed to be.

Mock up engine in place.

Right angle gearbox mount.

Clutch, chain, and sprockets in place.

Gearbox girdle.

Steering completed.

Seat and belts mounted.

Master Disconnect switch mounted.

Window net mounted.

I'd feel a lot safer with that cage around me. I bet you'll have a blast driving it. Where are yall gonna run?

I'm gonna run it a local track just to try to get it setup. After that I'll be taking it to Phatbottom Speedway in York, South Carolina to run with the guys up there. I plan to do that a few times until it gets started locally. Got lots of interest so far.

By the Grasscar Racing rules you do.

A 700 would be cool with a couple close ratio gears. Restart gear and race gear.
