So, I was told we could remove the complete oil splasher from our 28 and it wouldnt blow up? what is your take? We removed the govener shaft and govener ears all ready.

It won't blow up without it...for a few seconds or maybe a few minutes :noplease:. Leave it in if you want to keep your engine lubed.
