I would strongly suggest remote battery posts.
Nothing sucks worse than missing a race because the battery went dead and you had no way to jump it.
Ezsy and quick access is crucial to me!

yup.  especially on a motor with alotta compression that doesnt get many starts to a charge.

Heres a pic of my hood pins as well holds the hood down real well just a couple of bolts with the heads cut off with some washers rivited to the hood

Hey guys and gals it's been a while but we are getting back to it.


I found out that because this frame was a little different I had to move the battery forward.

I got the input shaft bushing installed.

I finally got the steering done. I had a little binding problem but I kept at it and now it's done.

This is the arm for the clutch the bolt for the locking collar is drilled and tapped into the pedal.

This is my adjustable steering stop.

Here are some new pics with the steering wheel and the seat installed.


The Kohler is rebuild and ready to be installed.

And I have to let everyone know that Marc Baker has done his part to help a father and son get into the sport.
