Just for everyone else I did find a link to the bearings I needed.

http://www.rcpw.com/index.htm
Go to aftermarket parts and type in wheel bearings!
presto now look for what you need!

turned out I found rcpw on the Yahoo group site!

Thanks for all the help. Just like always MowBetter and the Yahoo site has all your answers.

1031, I have an advantage of being an autoparts wholesaler with alot of books at my finger tips. I was dissapointed to see niether BCA or TIMKEN offered anything 1 3/8 by3/4 in a ball bearing sealed or other wise. Squid is right in that switching to a 5/8 spindle opens up bigger avenues. The reason is the small size of the ball bearing required in the small area(.3125 -race thikness compared to .375)  But PRIME LINE offers a heavy duty roller bearing with a turned cage instead of stamped that seems to hold up quit well.I believe the number is a 7-04133 if Im not confused. You should be able to get these through any local auto parts store or hardware.TB

Thanks Tory :!:

Haven't ordered anything yet!
So I will be sure to look up the parts number that you gave me.
Have to wait just a little longer.
The wife accountant is making me wait till Christmas is over  :x  before I can go on my spending spree!

Tory,
Looked up the bearings but I think they don't have the outside snap ring or a outside lip to hold the bearings on the wheel.

1031 I check my notes and thats the number Ive got down, theve worked out so well that I havent had to replace any in awhile. The bearings Im thinking of do have a lip,are 1.375 outer and .750 inner. Ill look em up this weekend though and make sure Im not giving you a wrong number sorry.tb( Ive used these in my s.p. before I swapped for the hub set ups and still use them in my IMOW, but there 2 years old now.)

thanks tory,
I have found a few that would work, BUT they are not heavy duty enough for me.

So I am still on the quest of a good bearing. Thanks for all the time your spending on my problem.

1031, I ordered more of the 7-04133 and I see some are heavy duty, some are not. I guess thats what happens when you by off brand,Try John Deere number AM118315, They are like the heavy duty I use to get,and are about $6.00 each. But get John Jeere brand or they may be the cheap ones again.Hope this time I helped. It looks like John Deere replaced part number AM118315 with part number AM127304. Hopefully they are the same quality.

I hate to resurrect this subject, but was wondering if anyone knew any part#'s for flanged bearings with an I.D. of 5/8" and O.D. of 1 3/8"(with the flange the bearing is about 1 1/2").  I had checked JD, but they were more expensive than the 3/4" I.D.  I have also considered bearings with the retaining ring, but was a little leary of the snap ring...maybe I shouldn't be.  Any help is appreciated.  I'm ready to start ordering parts to get this critter together.
