Im a little foggy this morning...the Rocket Shop guys drove up about 4 a.m. this morning..the Crouch family arrived about the same time. We enjoyed the weekend.....I want to tip my hat to the people from Stevenson for putting in the EFFORT they did. The race site is beautiful...as pretty a place as there has ever been a racetrack...and if they continue to develop and grow it...this event will be one the you never want to miss. Our local racer Charles Ford who was injured racing yesterday is on his way home. I just spoke to his father, he is able to get around some and though in pain...should recover ok. We wish  him a quick and full recovery.

thats what is so fun about this sport, it is also a game of attrition...gotta make it to the end to even have a chance of a win.
If you quit when you're behind, you will never win.

Ferris, you mad at me or something?
8 national wins this season, a National championship, and winning the All American to close out the season not to mention all the exibition races doesn't sound too bad to me for someone having his share of troubles.
I'm sure everyone has broke an engine at one time or another, I ran three different race series with that machine this summer. I've got more miles on that mower this season then I put on my car. My work boots have grooves worn into them from my brake and gas pedals. I would have used up a half dozen vanguards trying to pull something like that off.

I wasn't sure where to post this, so here it is. I just wanted to say thanks for a great time. The 19 hour ride was worth it for sure. It was great to be in a race with so many experianced racers. I met some great people and saw some great racing. I hope to give it a wirl again next year.
Thanks,
Arthur Marston- from the New Hampshire crew.
