Ladies and Gentlemen, The Sam Rogers US ALL American Open is and always has been about inviting all to race on common ground. First sanctioned by ARMA and now by USLMRA the classes are based on those two national sanctioning bodies rules books. I have always said and in the Spirit of Lawn Mower Racing it must be a lawnmower frame because of those rule books. What this means and this is aimed at the OPEN Single and Open Twin classes, but also applies to all classes, is you start with a LAWN MOWER frame and build your chassis. You cannot start with a go kart or built boxed rail frame and scab in a mower chassis while round tube can be used as a stiffener the afore mentioned is not the case. IF you have done this it is not legal, and I am putting this out now. I do not want anyone spending their hard earned money to make the trip to be told you cannot race it. This is not open for discussion. Its the RULE and MUST be a mower chassis. Again everyone is always welcome but we have to have rules as a guideline and this is to clarify that rule. Thank you all and see everyone in 2 weeks. Drive safe!!!

Just got a call and I am excited to say not only do we have the SRUSAAO happening at Stevenson Park but also friday and Saturday night we will have a circus at the park. SO bring the kids and enjoy. Last year when it came to Stevenson it was adults 7.00 and kids with adults free. I will try to get a confirmation on this ASAP

I thought that you explained this pretty good George, but I have people that are under the impression that my chassis kits are no longer legal after reading this.
My chassis kits are 100% USLMRA, ARMA, and WOO legal for Supermodified, FXT and FXS. I start out with lawnmower frame rails and build from there as George mentioned. Just like the other 95% of the machines out there are right now.
There is nothing wrong with using round tube to re-inforce your frame rails or to use as cross members and so on.
What George is referring to is for the guys that have bought go-kart frames and are trying to adapt lawnmower frame rails to them, basically starting out with a rolling go-kart chassis and building from there. That is what they don't want to see at the Sam Rogers U.S. All American. So if your chassis can roll around without the mower frame rails, its probably not legal lol. I hope that clears things up. Any questions regarding this please get a hold of Kerry Evans.

Yes this was not aimed at your frames Ryan. And yes I thought I explained it well enough

NOW onward we go.
Early forcast mid 60s for highs and mid 40s for lows sounds like a perfect weekend for racing.

I was planning on going to the All American but my co racer is not going. I live near Charlotte, NC and still want to go. I have a 18 ft enclosed trailer with plenty of room if anyone in the area wants to ride down with me. Hit me up. 803-526-3058

Hey Drew!
What class are you planning on running down there?  I remember you were building an FXS I think?  Will you have that ready for Sam Rogers?
