model 28 wrist pin question

the wrist pin I have is for a model 252707 its from a .030 kit im using the previous piston with a new set of rings .the problem is when installing the pin it seems a little too snug in the piston and the connecting rod moves but it takes a tiny bit of effort . ive built a few chevy 350's and one or two pontiac 400's but this seems a little out of place.
