craftsman transmission swap

hydro transmission is in it now anyone know if i can swap it out with anything that will bolt up?

That is the great thing about lawn mowers, everything is compatible, to a point though. You may have fashion a new mount, or drill a hole or two, but almost any of the transaxles will fit under it.

Many options for swapping transaxles are out there, depends on the usage of the machine.

Use a 930 series cheap easy to find unless plan on racing then go to builders section  ;)
