Kawasaki 460 ring ?

Ok I'm working on rebuilding my fb460 kawasaki the problem is I purchased a new ring set! The set of rings I got the compression ring will not fit in piston the second ring and oil ring fit fine! So did they have to type of pistons / ring combo,s

SOUNDS LIKE THE FIRST RING LAND HAS BEN SQUASHED A BIT. DOES IT FIT MOST OF THE WAY THEN IS PUSHED OUT? IF SO YOU HAVE A  DAMGED RING LAND IN THE PISTON.

Talked to Kawasaki parts guy to day and he called kawasaki said they don't make rings for the old piston that have to buy new piston because they changed them? And the ring land looks good! So order a piston I guess!
