But with my adjustable front axle from EC, that won't be an issue right? I can just square up my axle, burn it in then adjust the caster on the end plates right?

No, you need the angle to start with.

THE ANGLE OF THE WHOLE AXLE OR JUST THE END PIECIES? THAT THE SPINDLE MOUNTS TO?

The angle of the frame, which defines the axle. Then you have the fine adjustment on the end plates.

If you build your own axle, you can just make the end plates at an angle.

Yes and no.

Yes to the bottom, and it also needs to tilt back... that is the part of the frame we been talking about.

Go look at George Herrins 07 build. http://www.heymow.com/index.php?topic=1613.0

Read that whole thing.... several times.

Now I'm really confused. I've been through Georges build and this is what he shows

" border="0

Well I can't get the thumbnail to work but here's the link to the page that shows it.

http://www.heymow.com/index.php?topic=1613.45

looks to be at a 90 degree not the 7 degree built in caster.

NO ITS NOT 90. EVERYBODY HAS THEIR OWN BUT YOU WILL GET ANSWERS FROM 5-15 DEGREES TILTED BACK. 10-13 HAS ALLWAYS WORKED FOR ME. HOPE THIS HELPS.
ALLSO THE TILTING BACK IS CASTOR AND THE TILTING IN IS CAMBER. I RUN 5 DEGREES - CAMBER ON THE RIGHT FRONT (TILTED IN) AND 3 DEGREES + CAMBER ON THE LEFT FRONT.

Alright, I think I'm getting it.

So when I tear my mower down, I'll check to see if the frame is squared off or not. If it is, I will modify it to somewhere between 8-10 degrees caster before I weld my axle to it. My EC front axle kit has the tube and end plates already welded up at 10 negative camber which of course is adjustable with heims.

No, the EC alxe has 10* Kingpin Inclination, not camber. 2 different things.

They really seem like the same thing unless there's an unknown axis i don't know about. I really need a visual!

The spindles are at 0* camber, the kingpins are at 10*. Some use kingpin inclination (kpi), some do not. There is a ton about it on here.
The way camber is adjusted with the rod ends, does however affect kpi to a certain extent.

The biggest difference in KPI and Camber is that KPI Causes the tire to raise up when turning, actually changing the wedge of the mower, Camber does not do that.

KPI also changes scrub radius.
