So far I've seen Intek, Vanny, kohler, kawi, and tecumseh in twin.  In single I've seen briggs and honda.

All ohv? Are they alowed a custom head, like milled from a block of alum, or does it have to be a factory casting?

Only in ARMA, you are allowed billet heads. If you want to stay USLMRA legal you will have to modify factory heads. Most I have seen have been OHV but a few that I have seen did use the flatty.

The 2 main engines being used in the twin cylinder class is the briggs vanguard and the kohler command. A few are using the briggs intek twin, kawasaki twin and the tecumseh twin.

Briggs, honda/clones, and there will be a kohler command towards the end of the year.

I think around 13 hp. They will a horizontal engine. Most hondas have a red engine shield. The clones come with several color shields. Most of the clones are blue or yellow that ive seen.

Solid motor, but no one makes a billet flywheel for it yet.

Stock form the Kawasaki is the best. Parts are just expensive for them. Grubby or jason mikula will be the man to answer that question as for racing them. Keep in mind all engines must have billet flywheels now.
