is a arc flywheel good for a briggs pulling motor or should i use a steel heavy flywheel thanks

You will want a heavy steel flywheel. 18-23# you don't need the cooling fins.

There is no available steel flywheel for my GX390. If I have to get me one which I will have to. I will get a ARC flywheel which weights 4.5LBS then I will order me a MWSC 14LBS heavy steel front pulley. That will get me around 18LBS of rotating mass. Right on the spot for me!
