Yeah, but for another $90 you could buy a new one race prepped with the steel gears from EC! And, I'm sure George could ship it cheaper than the $41 it's showing me there!!  :worried:

I picked up 2 used 700-078s on E-Bay recently for $65 apiece w/shipping, all steel gears. One needs shift forks, the other needs the input shaft bearing. Both of which are much cheaper than the steel gear set to make a 700 race worthy. And, both were off walk behind mowers so they probably didn't see a whole lot of abuse. Not to mention I picked up 3 700s recently for less than $30 each w/shipping, that'll contribute those parts... And, others!!

For less than $225, I got 5 of them!! You just got to watch E-Bay faithfully!

I just started ebaying, and I have up for auction a fuel oil stove (http://cgi.ebay.com/Oil-burning-stove_W0QQitemZ260144236537QQihZ016QQcategoryZ47103QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem). It ends in a couple days, but for my heymow pals, I could hold on to it and even include the tank. Was going to scrap it. Don't think I have the regulator, though.
