In the CP class, engine  mods are allowed, but not mandatory.  The only mandatory rule is a billet flywheel for ungoverned engines.  In the scheme of things, points for "also ran" (i.e. 6th - ?) is better than no points for not registering and fininshing a race.

Well i got the spare engine in and the exhaust and clutch on. Looks like ill have to run in 5th gear to keep up with the rest of the mowers. Brakes and electricals are next. Hopefully will get it moving on its own power soon.

Now, I could be wrong, but judging by the "dirt" on the left front, I think you may have a bit too much negative camber there. You will want more than half the tire on the ground.

HI! sorry its been a little bit. My relationship status has changed so I've been going through a tough patch but I did get the racing mower finished! I raced it last Sunday, made 3 laps in practice and the sprocket hub on the trans split in half causing the chain to fall off and it got wrapped around the output shaft. Bent the shaft and took me out for the rest of the day  :mad2: :bash: but the good news is I took the shaft to work and we repaired the shaft and I built a stronger hub/sprocket. Took it for a spin yesterday in a field and ran it pretty hard. Harder then I would at the track and it did flawless. I will try to put some pictures up soon. I will be in the process of moving so bare with me for a little bit. Thanks for tuning in!

Hey guys! Just getting settled into my place. Ordered a billet flywheel and should be in this week. Going to be swapping out engines and will be finally running my built engine. We have a race one week from today so it will be a busy week. Things are looking up and starting to get life back in control. Will post pics and hopefully videos soon
