Here are a couple pics of my stable of machines. My sons cub 100 with a gx390 clone and my new wheel horse with a narrow front conversion. It has a 12hp kohler "stocker". Both engines are set at 4000rpm in a governor class.

I just received the 3 stage pipe from parson and I was disappointed to say it's awful short... Just currious if you still going to run the short pipe from them or not. I'm going to run it anyway!

I like the look of the narow front end conversion, just surprised your club rules allow it as most say "front must track within the rear track"...
Or does that meet the rule being just to the inside of the rear track...?

Both clubs I pull with just state wheel base must remain stock for chassis being used. We dont have any rules about front and rear tires tracking within one another.
My boys gx runs very strong with parsons pipe. My 12hp kohler will have a hard time beating it. The ohv engine just makes a ton of torque compared to the kohler. He can pull more gear and produce more track speed than my kohler.

You never win a race by focusing on one aspect of the race! Motor isn't everything, but you better have a good one! Chassis too! But remember, a driver can take a slow machine and make it faster! I may not have/be the best of any of these but I'm trying!

Chris that was mine. It was nice. Had an efi 400m ford. No rust. Kids are getting older and involved in sports. Dont have time for everything anymore. So it was sold.
