New to mower world looking for suggestions on pulling
« on: November 16, 2011, 01:57:03 pm »
All I know is I want to pull and I want to use a kohler engine. I'm looking for any suggestions on which motor would be good and any other tips you'd like to give a rookie. Thanks.

Well, what class do you want to pull in? That would help a lot. And where are you located?

Picking the class first is important...If your not following NQS "national" rules, then you will want to check what the class discriptions are at the local level.

Around here the same motor/chassis combo will fit in several classes, but levels of build (what you can do to it) is limited if you want to pull with more than one club...

Don't do it.  I repeat, don't do it.  Step away from the pulling tractor. :D
Pick a class, make sure you can afford to be competitive in it, as it ain't
a lot of fun showing up to compete for 10th place all the time.  JMO
