Topic: Intek twin throttle cable setup....Input needed please..

I have searched, & can't find anything useful on how to hook up the throttle cable from the dirty hairy to the intek carb shaft. My setup is plastic intake add a reworked stock carb, & newer style blower housing for now.....I have seen Georges setup in pic's but not close enough to tell exactly how it's mounted....ps As soon as the money tree blooms I'll order those twin tilly's ..!!!

On my intek twin we used the stock governor rotating place and hooked the cable to it and a rod to the carb. With the two springs it works great.

All of that has been removed and the hole has been plugged where the governor shaft comes through the block.....I'll have to find another way, but thanks though...

All mine was removed too but we put the rotating cam piece back on to make the throttle hook up easier.

Real simple. Put the cross piece back in that fits between the heads under the carb. Use the original rod from the carb. Let it hang from the throttle lever and bend a hook in it. Attach the cable housing pointing up from the original point just below twhere the rod is. I use a 10-12 small eye wire connector and crimp it to the cable. Hook it into the rod and presto.

OK, you mean use the bell crank that was mounted to the intake.....got it sorry for the confusion .....THANKS....
