It will never settle in and form good lines, Moves to much. Horse tracks never make good motor sports, too soft, they need a binder as in clay.

other than syracuse which holds the biggest dirt modified even in the northeast lol

I'd race on it...why not!
Actually, I'd rather race on loose than on clay.

Personally I prefer and good dirt NOT clay a little loose not tacky grippy like clay, A little slide/give is a bit more forgiving least wise on a convential build. Even on my Supermodified I do not preffer the high tack high bite tracks. a track with a lil slide to it just fits me better I like backing into the corners. feels good looks good and the crowd loves it. May not be the fastest way but sure is fun. But for your question go for it. won't know till you try it.

wth I'll give it a shot and see......they want it and are willing to pay for it, if it don't work then plan b.and from what they tell me this shredded rubber is not that expensive.

I would love to have a clay mix but here in Calif. it's major coin! You wanna see some way good really red clay, go to Oregon !!!! it's all over the place..

Bud is right to an extent- western oregon foothills are a great red clay, but when you get to eastern oregon, it turns to a fine powder that gets in the eyes! check you tube video under "wamic Mower races northwest regional championships" and you will see what i mean- plus youll see my supermod 30 cid vanny whoopin em!  :D

Around here the dirt has alot of clay in it, so it gets hard and if preped right, tacky. Thats what I am used to.
