Sami moving the seat back a couple inches...
Seems her legs "stretched" a bit since we built this mowchine two seasons ago and it needs a little adjustment (which is good, because now it'll fit me and I may run it as IMOW from time to time)
After the Ooltewah TN race, this mowchine will be retired as Sami is moving up to the AP class and switching to the Rugg chassis...
Two full seasons, less than $500 invested:
Foote tranny, 3/4" axle, mechanical brakes.
First rebuild (clean and lube) of tranny done at end of 2nd season.
NO major breakdowns or repairs needed.
I would say this was an economical and successful experiment in getting my daughter involved in lawn mower racing and an excellent opportunity for us to develop a Father/Daughter relationship at this influential time in her life.
Man, I love lawn mower racing....
