I would reccomend all the info on this forum.  Just read around and you'll find pretty much everything you need to know.

Sami has her sights set on something bigger...

Last race Fifield she won her heat and 2nd in the feature....

Now she's ready for the AP class...in the mean time practicing on dads F/X...

Squidd,
checking out Sami's clutch ,which is the same one that I have in Sarah's ,Do you have any problem with slippage under load ? Only thing I can figure that it is setup on wrong side for sarah's .tried different ideas with the clutch .No matter how I try to do it , the clutch opens up under load .I almost to the point of scrapping this mowchine . It has been nothing but a headache .

As discussed several times in this build up.... this is a goverened class mowchine for a lightweight driver... so the 3/4" axle and foote tranny have held up well for two seasons now...

For a prepared mowchine.... more hP or a heavier driver go with 1" or 1 1 /4" axle and 700 setup for reliabilty....

ok, one last thing (i think)

i have a mower just like that and was wondering why you didn't add any frame rails for strength.

was it because of rules, or a "light duty" driver?

Two seasons ago when we built it, rules and "specs" were even lighter than the iMOW spec they run now >IE: 3650 with 9:1 and 16" tires < with a light driver it wasn't neccessary to brace because the frame was not subject to extreme "twist and torque" from either driver or mowchine itself...

It seems to have held up well to the IMOW specs it was run at this year and Sami was a much more aggressive driver as well..

Next year she will move to my prepared class AP mowchine which has been reinforced..

If this unit were to be recommissioned as either IMOW for me or bumped to prepared class for anyone, it would be wise to add reinforcing rails and a trannny plate and Peerless and cart axle and ...and....and....

But as it is, it has earned her a wall full of trophys and never let her down...
