Go to Lakota Racing, I think they have them listed or at least a link to Hilliard Club

I didn't realize it was a gas class. Harrison has won it with his 42 cube methanol twin the last couple of years.

I was told it was gas. Lakota provides the fuel. We have a good running twin just looking for a reason to bring it to columbus this year. I wish there was a class that you weren't forced to by recast heads to compete. Our motor is close to 70hp. But we have to run stock head castings were we pull.

In that case call lakota and ask for darlene. Hope you find what you're looking for.

Just talked to darlene of lakota. 2- 1" carbs or 1- 1.2" carb. They will provide the gas. Vp c12. They will post the rules on www.lakotaracing.com and www.hilliardtractorclub.com when they have a better idea what's going on.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Drew. I did talk with Darlene last week and she told me they were going to have a meeting with the hilliard club and get it dialed in.

Yeah I found them. We are just watching. They are letting the recast heads in. They dont have a class for stock head castings. If you dont buy a set of the reacst heads from only place that sells them you cant compete. Makes the whole thing frustrating. Not everyone can buy a set of heads for 2500 that still are not able to bolt on. If I wanted to buy a set of 2500 heads I would build a mini rod and have more fun. Its just blown way out of sight for anyone building stuff at home in the garage.

sorry had to vent

Hopefully Vogel will have a set of recast head for twins if they ever decided to do it.

I never knew they cost 2500. No wonder why the pro twin class is so small at NQS.

What's so special about the recast heads?

I bet whatever is special about the heads ie ports and combustion chambers. You can always weld them up and make it better. Just a thought.
