Gx390 question
« on: August 12, 2011, 11:36:53 pm »
Putting my cylinder head back together after buying stainless valves, pushrods and rocker arms. They sent shims with everything, 2 thin and 1 thick brass. Any ideas which spring the thick one goes under?

Generally the thin "shims" will go under each spring to keep the steel spring from eating up the aluminum pocket. As for the thick spacer, i suppose with the springs you have they are adding seat pressure so, the thick under the intake valve ...unless there is an installed valve height difference then, the thick goes under the longest valve. Good luck!
