Depending on the hubs you use, washers can some times rub on the wrong bearing race. Some hubs they are fine others not so good.

thanks alot guys this is the feedback i was hoping for, much appreciated. Now what is recomended for bushings in the actual spindle mount where the bolt goes throught the rod end bearings and then throught my black pipe just brass?
if you cant put bearings in them, brass bushings are the next best thing

Definitely need to support the steering in some way. Lots of pressure on them!

I am not sure on the EC hub..just make sure when you slide the hub on, what ever is holding it in position is holding it by the center race, not the outer race or hub face.

Look through the build threads, see what you like. Different people do it different ways.
Personally, I run a 3/4" pipe through the dash and chassis, then put bushings in the end and run my 5/8 shaft through them. Then I come off of the pip just under the dash and run 2 3/8 bars down at an angle to the chassis just
behind the dash.

If your craftsman has metal dash you can make it work. Just need to add some bearings for the steering shaft.  My SP has no support and has been rolled. It all survived. Plastic will need supported.

I think you hurt yourself with the amount you cut the fenders.

Lose the seat bracket and mount the seat straight to the fender.
And Birdman is right, if you do not have any support under those they are going to bend pretty easily.

I have a craftsman and I mounted them to the frame. Your ride looks sweet.
