push button wiring problem i need help

im doing a push button ignition with a toggle switch and the toggle doesnt work at all does anybody know how i can fix it


this is the diagram i used

Where did you  put the toggle switch at in the diagram?

If you are using a toggle as well as a teather you need to wire the toggle in parallel with the teather, or the same way you wired the teather.

Where are you puting the toggle switch and what do you wont it to do?

If you're wiring the toggle switch to shut off the push button, just wire it in between the push button and solenoid on either side.  If that doesn't work, may just have a faulty switch.

If you're wiring the toggle for kill, you need to split the coil ground wire to both your toggle and your kill wire, and then both to ground.  You need both to have the ability to kill the engine to meet the rules.

You also have to make sure that it is a single throw toggle switch which is off/on. They also make one which is on/off/on.
