Crank gear
« on: November 28, 2006, 10:23:36 pm »
On Tecs with a balance shaft, on the crankshaft:
The cam drive gear is pressed on. The balance shaft drive gear slides on after that.
The balance shaft gear is held in place by a square post. How do you remove this?
I've tried to twist it out and I've tried to pull it out. Wont move.
This particular engine is an OVXL125, but I've found this on other Tecs.
Never tried to get this part out before.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?
