Season Opener at Selinsgrove 4/29
« on: April 21, 2011, 08:54:06 am »
The first FTFMRS point series race is scheduled for April 29th. Racing starts at 6:30.
We would like to have some idea of how many mowers will be attending......

If you plan on being there, please let us know. You can call any of the commitee members or simply post it here.
This is what we've been waiting for guys (and girls). 1/5th mile of extreme speed and a nice smooth racing surface to do it on!

Zach I'm not sure about Mcconnellsburg but it's twice the size of the Lewistown track. It'll be alot of flat footed driving by the looks of it. Turns are sweeping and not as sharp as most of the tracks you normally run on.

$10 for each person going into the pits at Selinsgrove. You can race as many mowers and as many classes as you want. Not sure about spectator fees. I'm sure there is tho, since they race Micros and Karts as well......

What a night at the track....... The turn out was great, and we had some fast times! Some of the guys ran in the high 13 and low 14 sec. on a 1/5 mile track.

Hope to see more of you racers at the next track!!
