Mini Go Kart

I found this little 1970s 2hp engine and this dolley and decided to make a small go kart.

hey guys, I started the engine yesterday and it started and ran for a few seconds. but there is a little nozzel coming out of the valve cover and an oily substance started to spew out of it. does anyone know what the problem is?

That's the blow by tube thingy.
if its blowing very much oil, your rings are shot!

 Man I love those little 2HP engines. They're the smoothest running single I've used for some reason. Could be because they have a huge heavy flywheel. I could get mine to run at just a few hundres RPM.
