If the gear ratio and rpm rules match that of the IMOW class then it is 21.5 mph with 16 inch tires

3650 rpms and 8:1 gear ratio with 16x6.50 or 16x7.50x8 tires.  16.125 otside dia. under uslmra
15 psi max.

Sorry, I should have been more specific.  Last I heard, ARMA Super Stock and USLMRA Imow both used the specs that Grubby just listed.  Can any ARMA guys verify?

In theory(real world) @ 3650rpm......21.715mph...anything faster and you are illegal or cheating.

3650rpm, 16" rear tires 15psi max 8 to 1 final drive ratio...as John stated above(US and ARMA)

Typically, under a load...ei....driving it at full throttle in your final race gear(pre set a 3650rpm), you will probably see around 3610-3620rpm as the governor load compensator tries to keep up. Which relates to 20.5 to 21.5mph.
We use Tiny Tach's on our dashboard so we can see what we doing under a load at full throttle.

ARMA does not use the O.D. diameter 16.250 rule that US uses so they are 1 to 2 miles per hour faster than a US IMOW

my mower (which is legal in my class FYI) runs at 3645 rpm, 9:1 drive ratio, and 24 in tires, and we've clocked it at 27 mph with a radar gun

Pretty sure he is talking about an ARMA Super Stock, in that class your mower would not be legal....just FYI.
An ARMA Super Stock that hits 27MPH would have to be doing something illegal!
