Since last season I got moved up from the light altered class. In our clubs the vangaurds are hard to beat on the cubs. I searched for my AGND for 8 years and last season brought it out on a new tractor. After a couple shakedown runs it was clear that it would outrun the vannys. This season I moved up to the heavy altered, super stock, and open if it runs as good as I think it will.

So for 2011 its a new engine, pulling tires, new fenders and some different front tires. I also put some taller gears in it. Here is a shot. Still waiting on my seat box. The guy that built my fuel tank is building the seat box. I am using some fenders from Nichols Performance. 6 inch karts wheels with rib tires.

I got my seat box from Donny. Rebuilt my clutch pedal shaft and bushed it. That took a couple tries but it turned out how I wanted. I finally got all my engines parts. Need to do a dry fit to check clearances between cam and crank and rod. Degree the cam and put it together. Going to R and D a tach adapter for Bill that will work with midwests crank trigger. Also will function with a LS2 gm coil. Finishing the frame up in the next week. New paint and smoothed welds and filled some holes. Will post some pics later.

Theres a shot of my new fenders and seat box. Got it all mounted tonight. Also a shot of my engine mocked up and a shot of my cylinder assembly all finshed.

That's a big hole for 6 bolts to hold down...

The three around the valves are 3 inch long 3/8 studs. The 3 around the bore are 7/16 studs that go all the way down to block bottom.

Not Dennis but its a Wisconsin AGND.

Grub yes that is a wisconsin AGND. The chassis is 1 inch dom round tube. I built it from scratch. Started with 40 feet of tubing and this is the result.

looks cool but i never thought a puller would use that engine. if you make it all work, hats off to ya.

Actually Grub that enine was one of them that was eliminated from the stock altered class because of the cid in stock form. It is a 4 inch stroke out of the box. 3.5 inch bore stock. I had a billet rod made for it, a steel billet cam and gear. Last year I had no problem running down the vannys and most of thekohler singles. I got bumped up in class because of the way it ran. This year it is a bigger stroke, bigger bore, .535 lift isky cam, BIG carb, billet head, 50+ cid. The fun part is beating up on the engines that are the norm and built with parts bought out of a book. Everything in this engine is custom one off. It worked very very well last year. Should make over 50hp and torque in the 60 ish lbft this year. 7000rpm. S&S Super B carb. There as very good engine. They have a forged steel crank from the factory. 2 piece block. Crank case and jug are separate. Opened alot of eyes with it last year. Looking forward to do the same this year.

You could probably run with some local pro stocks and twins.

Drew I will be running in our local super stock classes. Twins and singles. No roller motors. Stock head open vtwins. Vtwin heads must look stock and use stock intakes. Singles must look stock. The singles can run billet heads. We have a bunch of good running twins and a few strong singles. Its a fun class.
