I run sno-hogs and they kickass when it comes to traction.

Well you got a good race tire (Turf Master) you just don't want to spend any money on them... :worried:

Turf Pros are good...and I ran Turf Savers front and rear on my AP (they are narrower than Masters)... all good tires...

I also ran some (new) Turf Saver IIs on the rear of my IMOW....

I think they were softer and "sticky'er" than the hard lug (junkyard) Goodyear and Carlisle most of the other guys ran...

Get some turf savers and cut them to make them more aggressive cut a tread bar out or something just get creative and you may find that they have mower grip in them than the master.  If you don't have a tire grover you can use a small grinder something like a 4 or 4 1/2 inch grinder will work.

i will probably get turf masters because its on my x mas list :P that and i get plenty of traction the problem is that i get to much my tires i run right now have a sharp egde and when i got to slid it around the corner it grabs that sharp edge and it wan`ts to go over so i will prbably be running turf masters after x mas the tires i have now will do till then my rims on the other hand arent so good. eh matt u seen what i did to the one. its fixed btu i wont be racing on it like that.

i was just thinking bou that recently and i thought u know how ur hub is on the outside of the rim well pressures are against that and theres nothing behind it to hold it in place so solving your problem might be just as easy as flipping the hub to the otherside or the wheel so when your goin round a corner pressures are applyed to the shoulder of the hub instead of it just trying its best to hold on with your itty bitty welds

My crapsman has turf savers, i think they would be perfect for racing at a low price.

the back of the hub is on the inside of the rim in was the metal of the rip that tore right apart it pulled the whole hub threw i know what u mean there is a big end and a small end to the hb and the big end was on the inside so it was pushing against that metal fatigue i guess.

Depends on how hard you want to work mounting them up! Tubes would be recommended either way.
