I have a old Kolar 15hp ohv and the only way right now to shut off the engine is to lower the throttle and put the choke on but when doing this it seems that it is rattling on descending rpms.

it had no kill switch its just a regular tractor but the wiring is messed up to start it so i jump the power stright to the starter
the tractor has fire damage from a barn that went up in flames

IS THERE ANY BURNED UP PIECES UNDER THE BLOWER HOUSING ? OR UNDER AT THE ENGINE PULLEY? LOOSE PULLEY? STARTER GEAR?
