Started talking about my starter engine being a 460.
Grubb you said keep it. What do you mean, do you advise upgrading it as time goes by?
Such as billet crank, new rod, piston, flywheel and coil.

all ive ever run has been a kawasaki. only problem with the fb460v is no proformence parts avaliable. you will have to custom make everything. with some know how and friends, that could be a very fast engine.

if your setting this up for s/p you might want to consider a briggs 28 flat head. many, many go fast parts are out there for those. i would love to see more kaws on the track.

I think I heard, somewhere, that Jason Mikula had quite a few go fast parts for the Kawasuki's.

As I said in the last thread, I'm goin to just take the governer out for now.
I'll be running in Legends here, and just getting seat time for now.
Some time ago I was told that the carb on that engine needs help, being a little small.
Do you all think that's the case?

yes, get 1 of of a fc420v or an fc540v. you will have to do some mods to make it work. check your local rules to see if thats ok.
