i need to fix a motor

i have a brigs twin in a white lawn mower i dont no what i have to do to get it runnin but i no i need to put new head bolts on it cuz they are rusted and the rear end is locked up where can i get parts for the motor and the mower can u oder them at the local shop that dosent sell the whites

Being a past white dealer, any mower shop that sells MTD should be able to help you if the are willing to take the time. Thats on the mower parts. Many counter people are book smart and simply will not take the time to cross anything over. White is MTD but they are a division all there own. Fine example white dealers can do warranty on MTD but a straight up MTD dealer cannot do warranty on a white. Least wise Thats the way it was when I was with the White dealership. Now for the engine any shop that is a briggs dealer which is about any shop open should be able to help you engine wise.
