With the splash system I would do it no matter arc or stock.

Now I did not do any oiling mods to the ARC rod though, they are fine as they come.

ok i did this to my 20hp single i ran the engine at 2000rpms then i broke it loose with my tach hitting 5500 rpms with a big grin  ;)

well engine has held up well i dropped the pan after the test and saw no ware on the bearings or anything of that matter. i can risk breaking motors ive got plenty laying around but i dont like to but some times it happends

Then I drill a 3/16" hole in the center of the cap, no chamfer here.
The hole pictured is way too big....I dunno what I was thinking when I drilled it!

I screwed up here guys, thanks to meanmachine for catching this! If anyone has made this mod already I do apologize, but I think that much hole will cause problems! I don't know if it was a late night, grabbed the wrong drill or what but that is not right!

SO your Idea of No Problem is selling "a kid" the engine you used my bad advice on which could very well be about to come apart?

The hole size I quoted was correct, 3/16...but the hole in the pic I had to have grabbed the 9/32 drill or something!

still running fine he is using it as a puller and i dont think i told him i got the idea from ROOSTER i said i found the idea off of heymow.
