carb solenoid

on my carb the part where the wire connects broke off the solenoid. I was wondering how much a new solenoid would cost. I have a cv14s.

Depending on which one you have, $60-$90 new. Or the dreaded $120 one.

MORE THAN ITS WORTH. YOU REALLY DONT NEED IT. TAKE IT OFF,CUT THE SHAFT OFF AND YOUR GOOD. DOWN SIDE IS IT MAY BACK FIRE ON SHUT DOWN.

Most of the Kohler carbs you don't even have to cut it.  Just grab the tip and pull it out.
