kohler starting problem

i got a kohler v twin and when i go to start it with all the compression its got and timing in it to run on top in it spin over fast enough i was wondering what yall use to start these big motors like this. the stock starter jus aint workin for me

Check your connections, the power wire and the ground. The nippo starters on these things are plenty enough to turn them over.

Like Tank says check everything out, problem is probably not the starter unless you have a bad brush.
Actually the united tech starter has about 20% more starting power according to the starter places that sell them.
I still like the nip starters better!
