how can i make my lawn mower faster.
got a 16 hp motor and stock rear end.
t's not who has the most in racing but the one that gets the most out of it.

changing the pulleys and doing some math to figure out what speed you want. but you have to be reasonable because you dont want to do 100 mph unless you have the power and the chassis stability to do that

i would put a big pulley on the engine, and a small one the tranny

There's a lot more to it than that.  Some internal modifications should be done on the transmission, or transaxle, whichever the case may be.

One should also think about safety.  If you go much faster without tightening up the steering, or lowering the center of gravity, disastrous results could happen.
