When swapping the hydraulic lifters in the single OHV to solid lifters am i going to need to check the pushrod length or will it be the same. if its not the same, and i must measure, will this work?

If you have to do that use an aluminum briggs push rod cut in the middle thread and make one much cheaper.

Tim if you have a engine shop localy just assemble the engine. Long block except the push rods. The shop can measure for you and you can order them from victory lane or perfect circle. Small chevy diamter is great for the solid lifter.
