My purple and yellow chassis has NO traction problems in fact with a twin its a spectaular off the corner sideways toten both front wheels wreck begging for a place to happen. Thats why it now has a single on it. I never did find a way to make it perfect. As a single it still pulls the front some. I loved it but it was a WILD WILD ride. Spectacular crowd pleaser. BUT I was afraid it was gonna get me sooner or later... It DID. LOL I like em a bit loose....thats one reason why!!!

put a heavier guy on it and see if it does the same thing.... if it does try to add weight to the rear to see if that will help.

Good luck with that, unless their the potato chip kind :bash:  Maybe I'll have to hop on it and see what it can do with an extra sack of feed over the tires

How much air are you running in them?  If your spinning quit a bit then if you get your tires to soft from tire prep then you'll burn them up real quick.  Unless you have money to keep buying tires then that's what I'd worry about.  Try running them with less air but not real low to where your tires roll over.

If you have not done so you really need to scale your mower and see where your weight is at on your tires, I will not get into %'s on left side and front to rear because everyone will have their own opinion on what is needed. That is something you the driver needs to see what feels best for you.
If you do not want to add weight you can raise the front height to make more rear weight transfer. If I read correctly I saw where you are running 5lb's in the right rear ? You are probably running on the sidewall of the tire and not the tread.
The V-twin combo with this small tire 13-6.50x6 will be hard to hook up. I could spin them pretty easy on my F/X mower with the Honda single. One thing I found out was of all things my throttle control. It reacted to quick and I was getting more throttle quicker than needed coming off the corner. I simply added more travel in the linkage to get to WOT and it helped alot. Everyone has posted some good info here and I hope it will help you!!!

Zach, I have raced against you. Looking at your mower, move your seat back a inch or two, putting more weight over the rear axle. Then we can stuff your pockets full of rocks and get you on a KFC diet. You will have all the traction you will need  :D

I've seen some twins with the 6"rears. Didn't hook up all that well. I'm guessing the contact patch is much greater with the 8" tires.
I know my 8" tires leave a much larger mark on my trailer floor than the 6" tires on the front.
