No difference in strength from H rod to V rod, my point was that the billets available for the H motors will work in the V motor.
On the crankshaft I do not think they can be interchanged. I am thinking though that the V motors that used the solenoid mounted on the starter the pitch on the ring gear is the same as the H motor
